05 / About Helmframe
Built for the space between direction and delivery.
Helmframe is a UK-founded, principal-led consultancy for owner-led organisations whose operations have become more complex than the systems supporting them.
The philosophy
A system should make the business easier to see, decide and run.
Transformation fails when strategy, operations and implementation are treated as separate conversations. Helmframe brings those views into one frame: the commercial objective, the work people perform, the information leaders need, the platforms involved and the controls that make it dependable.
The work is deliberately implementation-led. Advice is shaped closely enough to mobilise, and leadership remains connected to delivery until the organisation can operate the result.
Founder and Principal
Gordon Pullen
Gordon is a CIO, systems architect and transformation operator who works across business design and technical delivery. His experience includes shaping and deploying operational platforms, integrating complex venue workflows, replacing spreadsheet-led commercial processes and establishing practical organisational AI adoption.
He currently provides CIO leadership and architecture for a platform business, working across software, proprietary hardware and a flexible delivery team progressing an initial product towards deployment. This is active leadership work—not a completed case study or a claim of realised outcomes.
Gordon’s working style is direct, evidence-led and commercially grounded: define the real problem, establish accountable system boundaries and stay close enough to delivery to know what works.
